When you choose Good Water, your impact extends far beyond your home.
Each system installed in Australia helps fund a biosand water filter for a family in Cambodia, supporting our mission to deliver 10,000 filters by the end of this decade, bringing safer water, health, and dignity to communities that need it most.
In partnership with Global Development Group (Project J1271N).
In rural Cambodia, access to safe drinking water remains a critical challenge, particularly in and around Siem Reap and surrounding provinces.
Many families still rely on untreated surface water from ponds, rivers, rainwater stored in jars, or shallow wells, sources that are vulnerable to contamination.
These are not distant issues. They shape daily routines for families managing health, schooling, and basic hygiene with limited resources.
This is why household level, durable and culturally appropriate water solutions, supported by hygiene education and local capacity building, are still needed.
Clean water is not a privilege. It is the starting point for health, education, and dignity. That is why The Good Water Group is committed to a clear and practical mission in Cambodia.
Our mission is to help fund and deliver 10,000 biosand water filters for vulnerable rural communities by the end of this decade, supporting long term access to safer drinking water.
Over a three year period, the project will deliver and install household biosand filters for families most in need, provide hygiene and filter usage education including basic maintenance, train local community members in filter construction and installation, and strengthen long term results through ongoing monitoring and community engagement. The program is designed to be community led and sustainable beyond short term support.
Our work is concentrated in rural and peri-rural communities across Cambodia, with an initial focus on Siem Reap and surrounding provinces where access to reliable, treated drinking water remains limited.
Rather than operating from a fixed location, filters are delivered to communities identified through on-the-ground assessment by local teams, ensuring support reaches households and facilities where simple, durable solutions can have the greatest long-term benefit.
By working closely with local leaders and experienced Cambodian implementation teams, the program reaches communities often overlooked by large-scale infrastructure projects, delivering practical, household-level solutions that can be installed, understood, and maintained locally.
We fund and deliver biosand water filtration systems to families in remote Cambodian villages. A proven, sustainable solution for safe drinking water.
These systems:
The system is fully funded by The Good Water Group and installed at no cost to the recipient family. Installation is managed entirely by trained local teams, ensuring the filter is properly set up and ready to use. Each family receives hands-on guidance and hygiene education to help them use and maintain the system effectively, supporting long-term health benefits.
This is not a one-time drop-off. It’s a solution built to last, simple, effective and life-changing.
You don’t need to donate. You don’t need to volunteer. You simply need to protect your own family with clean water.
For every system installed here in Australia, we fund the build and delivery of a filter in Cambodia. It’s that simple. One decision. Double the impact.
And as we grow, so does our reach. More systems. More filters. More families with the chance to thrive.
“10,000 filters isn’t just a number, it’s a legacy of health, dignity and hope.”
We believe community impact should be meaningful and accountable. That is why our Cambodia program is delivered through a structured charitable partnership.
Supporting the mission through a system installation does not require an additional donation.
When you choose The Good Water Group, you protect your home and someone else’s.
You may never meet the family who receives the filter you helped fund, but know that they will never forget what you made possible.
Together, we’re not just removing contaminants. We’re restoring futures. Clean water unlocks education, keeps families healthy, helps women reclaim their time, and lifts entire communities.
This is what Good Water means. Here, and there.
