We rarely question the water coming out of our taps. It’s clear. It’s treated. It must be fine… right?
But what if it isn’t?
What if the water you and your family drink, cook with, shower in, and bathe your children in carries more than just H₂O — and no one’s ever told you?
That’s exactly why we created a free, simple way to start finding out:
A 3-minute water test you can do at home, no plumber required.
It’s not designed to scare you.
It’s designed to empower you.
Why Test Your Water?
In Australia, we’re told our water is among the best in the world. And while that’s often true at the source — what comes out of the treatment plant — it’s not always true by the time it reaches your tap.
Here’s why:
- Water travels through kilometres of pipes, many of which are decades old
- It can pick up chlorine, sediments, metals, and even microplastics
- Some contaminants, like PFAS, have been detected in parts of Australia for over 30 years
- Testing is usually done at the mains — not at your home
That’s where this little test strip comes in.
What Does the Test Measure?
Our free test focuses on TDS — Total Dissolved Solids. This is a measure of everything in your water that isn’t pure H₂O. That includes:
- Naturally occurring minerals (which may or may not be beneficial)
- Chemical residues
- Heavy metals
- Industrial runoff
- Trace contaminants from aging infrastructure
A high TDS reading doesn’t tell you exactly what’s in your water, but it tells you how complex your water really is — and whether it’s worth taking a closer look.
Think of it like a blood pressure check: not a full diagnosis, but an important early signal.
How the Test Works
- We send you a test strip — it arrives in a small envelope with simple instructions
- You dip the strip in a glass of tap water
- Compare the colour to the guide
- Scan the QR code to enter your result and contact details
- Our team will follow up to explain what your result means — and whether it’s within a typical range
That’s it. No tools. No appointment. No pressure.
Just information you didn’t have before — and the ability to make more informed choices.
What Will the Results Tell Me?
If your water tests low in TDS, that’s a good sign — but not a guarantee that your water is contaminant-free.
If your TDS is high, it could indicate excess:
- Chlorine or disinfectant by-products
- Sediment or rust from pipes
- Organic matter
- Fertiliser or pesticide runoff (especially in rural or semi-rural areas)
Again, the test doesn’t give you a full breakdown — but it opens the door to further clarity, especially if you’re considering water filtration.
What People Say After Testing
Many of the families we speak to are surprised. Not necessarily alarmed — but curious, even frustrated. They’ll often say:
“We assumed the water was clean. We never even thought to check.”
Or:
“No one told us about this. Why isn’t this test just… standard?”
That’s the point. It should be. But until then, we’re doing our part to make it accessible, simple, and free.
Why This Matters
Water affects everything. Your health. Your skin. Your hair. Your energy. Your children. Your home. And yet most of us never think to ask what’s in it.
This test won’t tell you everything — but it might tell you enough to finally ask the right questions.
So if you’ve ever wondered…
If you’ve ever tasted something “off”…
If you’ve ever dealt with dry skin or irritation after a shower…
Or if you simply want to be sure…
Start with three minutes.
Start with knowledge.
No pressure. No obligation. Just the truth — straight from your tap.
